Lilies and Ravens International was formed in 2007 as a nonprofit corporation, with a certificate of incorporation from the Secretary of State of California.
Its mission is to bring enlightenment to the general public on society's familiar people and situations yet little known realities. The specific purposes for which it is organized include creation, production, promotion, and distribution of documentaries and other forms of media to educate the general public on issues of immigration, homelessness, overcoming racial prejudice, and other societal problems.
Lilies and Ravens International's projects are funded primarily by its founders, donations and sponsorships. Donations and sponsorships are always welcome and will be used to complete current projects.
Its first film entitled "The Hidden Dream" (a Filipino documentary) was shown on PBS KCET - Los Angeles, Orange County, Desert Cities (Palm Springs, etc.) and PBS KQED World - San Francisco.
Its second film entitled "Faith in High Places" (a Christian documentary) is an Official Selection at the 2011 Maranatha Christian International Film Festival. Clips from the movie will be available soon.
